So that you do not have to tediously enter the same keywords, for example, for company sites and departments as for the head office, BecoSearch offers automatic keyword transfer at various points. These are listed below.
Organizations
In principle, a parent organization represents the combined special expertise of its sites, departments, institutes, etc. (‘children organizations’). To avoid the duplication of work when keywording, the keywords you enter for an organization are automatically passed ‘upwards’ in the organizational hierarchy to the parent organizations in BecoSearch and are summarised there. This means the parent organization does not have to be categorized manually. However, you have the option of preventing the keyword transfer via individual keywording of the parent organisation by manually entering the keywords for the corresponding organisation.
Vice versa: If a category of a child organisation has not been categorized, our system will automatically forward the keywords of that category from the parent organization to it.
Projects
Individual sub-projects are summarised in their joint project. Both the sub-projects and the joint project are created as separate entities with their own descriptions, keywords and contact persons in BecoSearch. We would like each individual sub-project to be categorized so that the expertise and contributions of each project partner can be recognised.
Since a joint project represents the totality of the contributions of the sub-projects, all keywords of the individual sub-projects are automatically forwarded to the joint project and are summarised there.
